Came for the Ghost Tour. Jessica was great! Shared with us the rich history and paranormal experiences. Saw the prohibition speakeasy, trap door, original brick and wood, and even got goosebumps in the dining room. Felt like electricity..like I was being watched.

The design is unique and full of character. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the service is excellent. We were treated like royalty at this historic inn, which was decorated to the hilt for the holidays. It was my wife's second visit and my first—and it did not disappoint!

My wife and I held a celebration dinner for our wedding here. The food was absolutely amazing! The best steak iv ever had! Environment is wonderful and friendly staff. Looking forward to returning.

WOW WOW WOW! We have stayed in old Inns all over the world, and this may have been our BEST experience! The host Brittany and her staff were TOP NOTCH! They went out of there way to show us the history and details of the building and grounds! The place is UNREAL! We loved the room decor, comfort, history and location! We will be back MANY MANY more times, TRUST ME! 10 STARS!!

Architecture, furniture, and decor are all from another century. Very historic and extremely atmospheric. Antiques everywhere including the guest rooms. Excellent restaurant with a small menu for breakfast and dinner.

This is a lovely old historic inn. It is furnished with antiques and unique items. There are several rooms to hang out in and a cute little self-serve coffee/tea bar. The staff was super-friendly, helpful, and informative. The seasonal decorations were festive and spirited. Taking a point off for the room because there were some issues with the bedding. There was food stuck to the bedskirt, stains on the coverlet and crumbs on the night table - otherwise the room was very clean.

What truly set the experience apart was the amazing staff, especially Brittany, the property manager. From the very beginning, Brittany was attentive, organized, and incredibly kind. She guided us through the planning process with professionalism and genuine care, making sure every detail was just right. On the day of the event, she and her team made everything run seamlessly—we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue. The indoor spaces were warm and inviting, and the outdoor areas were just stunning—ideal for photos. The combination of the inn’s historical charm and the team’s hospitality created an atmosphere that felt both elegant and personal. If you're looking for a wedding venue that’s rich in history, beautifully maintained, and staffed by people who truly care, we can’t recommend the Wayside Inn and Brittany enough. It was everything we hoped for and more.
